Site Details: Volunteer Opportunity - Child Care Providers for Refugee Specific
- Do you know how to play "hide and go seek?" How about "ring around the rosy?" Perhaps you enjoy a quite game of "Monopoly" or "Clue" or event an action packed game of Uno or Hungry Hippo? If you like to play any of these or any other games, or just enjoy working with children, come volunteer to help with our after school and evening English Language Learner courses. Volunteers help refugees attend language instruction by providing child care during the classes. Many of our attendees are women who need to know that while they learn, their children will be safe. You will be amazed how 1-2 hours of your week creates a lifetime of change for these families.
If you would like to help, this is a great way to play all of the board and playground games you can imagine, while helping your community build new skills and relationships.
