    Home visiting program for families from pregnancy to 4 years old. Screens the family for high risk conditions and characteristics that impact child growth and developmental health. Promotes optimal child development and health. Improves family coping skills. Child abuse and neglect prevention.
    HOPES (Healthy Opportunities for Parents to Experience Success)
    Serving pregnant women and infant/toddlers 0-4 years.
    support program available to parents of young children to assist in empowering them to become and remain strong and healthy families.
    During scheduled home visits,

    • family support workers offer support and education on infant/child behavior and development,
    • health and nutrition,
    • education,
    • employment
    • opportunities, as well as
    • how to access other community services.
    • Developmental screenings are also done with the young child on a regular basis and
    • referrals are made to appropriate agencies if delays are detected.
    Initial HOPES screenings are done with pregnant women and new parents and they may choose to enroll in the program at any time until the child is three months of age.
    Participation in HOPES is voluntary, free to the family and is not based on income.
